What is High School Discovery?

We’re glad you asked! This is a can't-miss weekend! This two-day retreat (August 22nd & 23rd) will be hosted at Springville Camp & Conference in Odenville, AL. Throughout the weekend, we'll have sessions of worship where we'll hear messages from awesome adult leaders, and discuss scripture and how it applies to our lives.

Every year, four houses compete all weekend to win a prize and all of the glory for their class. Last year, the Cobra Stompers destroyed the Bear Wrestlers, Shark Punchers, and Dragon Slayers. The Cobra Stompers were seniors, so the torch is being passed down to the freshmen to defend their house's honor.

High School Discovery Weekend is the best way to reconnect with one another and with God at the start of this new school year. Have a crazy fun time on The Blob and Zip Line, or relax in the lake with your friends. You do you :) We hope YOU will join us!

The Houses

Every year, students compete in houses for honor and glory! Houses are assigned by graduation year, so you represent the same house at every High School Discovery Weekend! The winning house is determined not only by who wins games, but also who has the most house spirit. So show up representing your colors!
